How I help
The right level of support, for the time you need it.
Every engagement starts with what the business actually needs. That might be ongoing fractional leadership, a defined operational project, interim support through change or a focused review followed by implementation.
01
Fractional Operations & People Lead
- When this is useful
- The business needs experienced senior ownership, but not necessarily another full-time role.
- What I do
- Work inside the business on an agreed weekly or monthly rhythm. I support the founder, coach managers, bring teams and priorities together, improve visibility and take ownership of the operational and people work that keeps slipping.
- The difference it makes
- You gain a senior partner who knows the business, is available to the team and stays close enough to make change stick.
02
Operations Review & Improvement
- When this is useful
- You know the business could run better but are too close, too busy or too stretched to see where to begin.
- What I do
- Review structure, responsibilities, systems, labour, handovers, reporting, standards, supplier practices and the everyday friction your team has learned to work around.
- The difference it makes
- A clear set of priorities, practical improvements and hands-on help putting them in place – not an expensive document for the drawer.
03
People, Managers & HR Foundations
- When this is useful
- Managers need support, people processes are inconsistent or difficult situations are absorbing too much leadership time.
- What I do
- Strengthen recruitment, onboarding, training, performance conversations, manager expectations, policies, documentation, communication and day-to-day people practices. Where specialist legal advice is needed, I work alongside a qualified HR or employment-law professional.
- The difference it makes
- Managers feel better equipped, employees receive clearer and fairer treatment, and people issues are addressed before they become expensive problems.
04
Openings, Growth & Change Projects
- When this is useful
- You are opening, restructuring, introducing a new system, changing responsibilities or trying to deliver a critical project alongside normal operations.
- What I do
- Build the plan, coordinate the moving parts, keep decisions and deadlines visible, prepare the team and deal calmly with the inevitable gap between the plan and real life.
- The difference it makes
- Less founder firefighting, clearer ownership and a far better chance of the project landing properly rather than limping over the line.
05
Interim Operational Leadership
- When this is useful
- A senior vacancy, restructure, absence or period of rapid change has left a leadership gap.
- What I do
- Provide experienced cover, stabilise priorities, support the team and keep essential work moving while you decide what the business needs longer term.
- The difference it makes
- Continuity and calm without rushing into the wrong permanent hire.
Ways to work together
Four shapes the support can take
- 01
Ongoing fractional support
A regular number of days each week or month.
- 02
A focused operational sprint
Review, prioritise and implement over an agreed period.
- 03
A defined project
Clear deliverables for an opening, restructure, system or change programme.
- 04
Interim leadership
Senior capacity while the business recruits or resets.
Not sure where to start
Not sure what label your problem needs?
That is fine. Tell me what is frustrating you, what keeps landing back on your desk and what needs to be different. We can work out the right shape of support from there.
